Sergeant Matthew Steward is a 34 year veteran of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), where he is assigned to the Neighborhood Outreach Program. Sergeant Steward is a proud Alumni of Indiana University-Bloomington where he earned his BS Degree in Political Science from the School of Liberal Arts. The founder and President of Steward Speakers a nonprofit community based organization, Sergeant Steward has brought more than 100 minority nationally known speakers to the city of Indianapolis. Sergeant Steward is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and serves as a deacon at New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Matthew and his wife Laverne have been married for 22 years and have two adult daughters.



Kimberly Adams is an experienced litigator who has successfully handled numerous jury and bench trials and administrative proceedings. She is a partner with Lewis Wagner, LLP, and is a member of their complex litigation team. Kimberly helps manage the defense of class action and mass torts cases and routinely defends professional liability matters for a broad range of professionals, including lawyers and health care providers. Kimberly enjoys her work on the board of Steward Speakers, because she too is dedicated to enhancing the community by providing opportunities for young people to engage with America's best leaders and brightest luminaries.

As the Tocqueville Society Director for United Way of Central Indiana, Mrs.  Bostic leads United Way of Central Indiana strategies and activities primarily, but not exclusively, to grow the giving and engagement of members of the Tocqueville Society and Meridian Society donors giving $10,000+ and $25,000+, respectively. Prior to UNCF, Mrs. Bostic served as the Executive Director for Mt. Carmel Community Life Center.  A life-long servant to the community, Mrs. Bostic volunteers whenever she can.  She has had the pleasure of serving on many community boards including Indianapolis Weed and Seed of the Far Eastside, Lawrence Township Hunger Coalition, FEAC Far Eastside Action Coalition, and she currently serves on Steward Speakers Board of Directors as Board Chair.  


Tracy Boyd is an Indiana native and committed advocate for education equality. After earning her bachelor's degree in Education from Martin University, Tracy worked as a technical support analyst for a pharmaceutical research company for more than a decade and later ran for public office in the city of Lawrence. Tracy is very passionate about mentoring our youth, as she knows the rewards are priceless in guiding youth to reach their goals.

Tracy plans to use her talents and experiences to build partnerships among the business community, churches, schools, mental health partners and the community at large. Tracy champions the mantra "Serving together Works" as a national movement for community service initiatives.

Erica Raeber is in business development for Salesforce. She received her B.S. from Indiana University with academic honors before joining the Macy’s Executive Development Program and developing a sales team that surpassed corporate targets. After her tenure there, she spent time in non-profits coordinating events and learning the importance of philanthropic relationships in communities. She returned to sales within the technology industry where she currently resides.


When she isn’t chatting with clients, she spends time hiking in the mountains, experimenting with new cooking techniques, and playing strategy board games. She is currently a member of the Steward Speakers Board of Directors and plans to use her previous event management experience to execute philanthropic events. She lives in Indianapolis, IN with her partner Luke and their cat Bear. She can be contacted at

Tina Cosby is a veteran Broadcast Communications Professional. She worked as a Community Affairs Director, as well as a television news anchor, reporter, producer and public affairs show host while at WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV in Indianapolis, IN.


She has received Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, recognition for excellence from The National Association Of Black Journalists and the Society Of Professional Journalists, The Angel Awards For Community Service Programming, and Journalistic Excellence and Outstanding Community Affairs Programming awards from the Indiana Broadcaster’s Association.

Tamara leads the development and execution of internal communication strategies and public relations efforts to promote brand, employee and community engagement. She recently served on the board of directors of the Madame Walker Theatre Center and is an active member of The Exchange at the Indianapolis Urban League. She sits on the steering committee of United Way’s Diversity Leadership Circle as communications chair and is part of Leadership Indianapolis’ Stanley K. Lacy (SKL) Class 43. She has her Masters of Business Administration from Purdue University and her Bachelor of Science in business marketing from Susquehanna University.



Renea Gates is the owner of Elite Coordinators, Inc. based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Renea is a certified wedding and event planner with more than seventeen years of experience. Since 2005 she has also been the owner of Personal Tux, LLC, a tuxedo and formal wear rental company. Both Elite Coordinators and Personal Tux are certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in the state of Indiana.

In addition to her work as a business owner, Renea serves on the Board of Directors of Minorities in Hospitality (MIH) as Vice President, Board of Volunteers with Steward Speakers, Membership Coordinator for Indy Black Chamber of Commerce (IBCC) and on the Board of Directors of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP) as President, and maintains her memberships in the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC).



Denola Burton is the Chief Operating Manager of Enhanced DNA: Develop. Nurture. Achieve, LLC. She began her career as a scientist doing cancer research and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology. She spent 20 of her Lilly years developing her expertise as a speaker, trainer and coach focusing on employee development, performance management, conflict resolution and relationship management. 


Denola is a certified DISC Behavioral coach and has obtained the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and Human Resource Certification Institute, Professional in Human Resource (HRCI-PHR) certifications and is now a certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach with the John Maxwell Team. 



Sarah H Castor brings nearly a decade of experience in collaborative partnership, fundraising, event planning, and marketing as the founder and executive director of JabuAfrica.  JabuAfrica is an Indiana based non-profit that provides financial support to grassroots initiatives directed by local leaders in Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, and South Africa.  JabuAfrica works primarily alongside education-based initiatives working to improve the lives and futures of vulnerable children, their families and communities. 


A graduate of Purdue University, Sarah is currently pursuing her master's degree in philanthropic studies at the Lilly School of Philanthropy.  She is honored to be working with Steward Speakers as a graduate assistant this year.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three sons, traveling, reading, and horseback riding.
